I was wondering if you had rat lung worm in the US. You didn't and now it's there.

We have it in Australia. Just take precautions if it's in your area. Don't let small children play on lawns and in gardens, they might touch snails and then lick their fingers. .

Several years ago there was a case of an 18 y/o boy that eat a garden snail for a bet. It damaged his brain severely.
