Robert Storch is well known in Ukraine, because in 2017 his candidacy was nominated by representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Preventing and Combating Corruption. He applied for the position of member of the external control commission for auditing the activities of NABU. Then the Ukrainian parliament did not vote for him.
