I actually think we saw this in the case of some NHL kid a year or two ago. There were swarms of cops and he got whisked away by the team for "personal reasons". The papers made her sound like she was talking about the player bc she claimed she was lured to the US, had her passports and ID taken from her, and forced into drugs and prostitution. But I think he was a kid who hired a russian speaking hooker and tried to "take her away from all this" because they spoke the same language. A lot of times the language barrier is what keeps trafficked people from getting help
