I see a lot of people saying that this is "BS", "misinformation", etc. But it makes far more sense this way than if he were running Dem.

Don't underestimate how many centrists and moderates we have; at this point we are the party of individuals whereas Dems are in total lockstep now.

They always lead with some crap about how Trump talks mean. It is obligatory with them like saying I'm not racist, I have black friends, when talking about anything controversial with race. When they tell me he talks mean I respond with "there is nothing good to say about the politicians he is talking about."
