Since we know the dollar is going to collapse what would you tell your parents to put their money in? I can’t convince them to buy GME or PMs.
Housing is in a bubble. So that’s not a good investment right now. Obviously when the precipice is over Trump will fix everything and people will get their value back in their federal reserve notes. But just something temporary for them to invest in so they don’t lose their minds when the crash comes.
Silver, gold, lead to protect the first two, and lots of canned goods, dry goods in bulk (rice, beans, pasta, flour, corn meal), and things to make those dry goods palatable, like spaghetti sauce, canned meats (chicken, beef, bullion, spices, etc.), and as much bottled water as they can reasonably store. 5-gal. cans of gasoline with a stabilizing agent (like Sta-Bil) for long term storage.
Also should look into a water filtration system for long-term.
I'm prepared to go it alone (two of us) for 6 months. As to lead (ammo), how much is enough? I don't know, but I suspect there is no such thing as "too much ammo."
Been liking StarTron over Sta-Bil.
