I think it adds up…if he was a white hat doing a job and is part of ongoing legal proceedings or possibly even RICO. His job description likely wasn’t sit in jail and be tortured 5 years if he is an intel asset.

he was the most public face which clearly shows how they really didn’t try to stop anyone and the fact they escorted him shows they were clearly not alarmed by the events. Also there were a lot of spec ops looking guys in the building that day so maybe there were distractions intentionally too. Idk.
