They missed because Iran intended them to miss. The US under Trump had just offed one of their top generals, Solemeini. Iran had a dilemma. They couldn't just let it slide since honor is huge in the Islamic world and their guy was killed by the kuffar US. But if they killed Americans in retaliation Trump would have bombed the shit out of them and killed more of their top leaders. So they fired the "botched" missile attack as political posturing in order to save face and uphold their honor.

I agree, he says they needed some retaliation but immediately follows with crooked Joe is not feares or respected.That to me indicated that they missed on purpose bc they feared Trump.
