Several posts already up here on Johnson's victory. This article had a lot of good info on Johnson's track record if anyone wants learn more about him https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/10/breaking-house-republicans-elect-trump-ally-rep-mike/

I'm thinking Trump's use of quotation marks is comms of some kind. With any luck, Johnson is 100% allied with Trump and he'll use the position to "speak" for Trump/MAGA.

Could be comms... could just be like many folks who write and (mistakenly) use quotes for emphasis. Like a sign that says, All "NEW" products!! It's not an egregious use of quotes, but English majors will still cringe when they see them used that way.
