We've decided against them for our most recent child and when scheduling an appointment the nurse told us that if we don't vaccinate then they won't see us.
Is this a widespread issue? Is there a website or resource for finding pediatricians that will see unvaccinated children?
(1) "Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act (EMTALA)"

"Anyone who goes to the emergency room, regardless of whether they’ve been vaccinated or not, must be examined under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA), which requires anyone coming to the ER to be treated regardless of their insurances status or ability to pay."
"Although private physicians can choose which patients they see, health experts do not expect many to deny care to unvaccinated patients."
"Doctors have a moral and ethical obligation to treat all patients, regardless of their beliefs or behaviors."
What you might do is tell the nurse you will be reporting their practice to the ethics board for denying treament based on beliefs and behaviors.
If everyone did this, the change will happen.
At the very least the ER, urgent care clinics, other clinics will not turn you down. Ask a friendly one for a doc who isn't vaxx greedy.
Boom- EMTALA should be used!! Go to the ER and demand to be seen- they can only triage you and make you wait- Everybody else is abusing the ER, might as well use this as an opportunity!
