My mom told me stories of how the government was paying farmers to burn their crops. My grandfather refused. He came from Russia prior to the Revolution and saw clearly what FDR's administration was doing and that people were going to starve. For him it was Deja vu. Not only did he refuse to plow under or burn his crops - he gave food away. He and my grandmother took a lot of heat in their community for calling out what FDR was doing. He said that FDR was implementing communist policies and that the only difference between the centralized policies of the Soviets and FDR was that FDR was implementing them more covertly using propaganda rather than Stalin's overt heavy handed methods. He also taught us... never give up your guns... no matter what.
True that. We have had a slow roll communist take over for decades. My grandfather was calling it out even then. Unfortunately, the people no more listened to him then as many of the sheeple today are still not listening to the warnings. My grandparents and great-grandparents left when they saw the handwriting on the wall. One of the proudest days in my grandfather's life was the day he received his American citizenship. My mom said it was the only time she ever saw my grandfather cry - tears of joy. He must be rolling in his grave over what has become of the country he so dearly loved and gave up so much to be part of.
Our grandparents worked and toiled and slaved,
Because their kids and grandkids, they were out to save.
Though they lay waiting, patiently still;
All it will take to raise them, is a whim of Gods will.
Now is our time, to honor their devotion.
Let's bring it home folks, put this Great Awakening in motion.

A LOT of his advisors were commies.
