Johnson was interviewed by Hannity last night and they discussed the funding of Ukraine/Israel and such. Johnson does not intend to throw money at these countries... if he is true to his words in this interview, he is going to implement some very common sense things attached to the funding measures. One of the most important ones, in my mind, is he's not sending money we don't have by firing up the printing presses, but will rather seek budget cuts elsewhere to pay for it.
Apologies for the youtube link, but it's the best one I could find quickly. Start watching at the 16 minute mark through 19:30 or so. Hannity is nearly unbearable to listen to, but I think Johnson's remarks are very noteworthy. Let's hope he carries through on the things he says in this interview.

People LOVE to overreact, not think things through, and doom over headlines.
He's still sending your money to Ukraine. Except now the government is cutting stuff for the people to pay for it.
They will not agree to cuts = no money.
Yup. He is using "politician talk" to say- we are not sending money, without saying "we are not sending money." Congress critters are not going to cut spending for their own pet projects to send to Zelensky, and he knows it.
We should cut and not send any money. The debt is insane rn.
Agree 100%
Sauce?
If so, that will wake up even more people as to the politicians priorities. McCarthy opened eyes. Johnson may be another short term eye opener.
Yup! Take a look at his history in voting, he is from an extremely conservative are of LA. He came out of nowhere, was endorsed by trump. IMO, LA has played a major role in the fight quietly. Look at all the suits Jeff Landry filed, over mandates, covid, green deal, federal waterways… Now he’s governor. People are pissed about foreign aid, we’ve known what was going to happen at the border. We have to get the entire country to unite, now people are seeing what sanctuary cities and open borders mean. Let’s do foreign aid now! People forget this fight is a battle on many fronts. Sometimes it’s hard to keep it all together but when you sail to the 40,000 ft view, were watching it all play out.
