CNN’s Kate Bolduan dropped a bombshell announcement on Friday, revealing that CNN would be closing its CNN Center headquarters in Atlanta.

Back in the 1990's, I traveled to Atlanta and went on a public tour of CNN center. The newscasters were on live TV as you walked near them on a balcony. People used to say that Atlanta was "Hot-lanta" , which it certainly was Not. The city center was dead after 5 pm. And Buckhead was filled with groups of youths walking around trying to start trouble. I never went back.
