My twin boys were born on 12/20/19, and I was hoping to find some cool historical event that happened that day... got kinda disappointed when I couldn't find anything. Then I checked the news before going to bed, and came across this article:
Yeah, but none of that was "scratching the itch," so to speak. The Louisiana Purchase is cool, but Space Force is cooler because the boys can't buy that much land, but they can apply for Space Force!
(your downvote didn't come from me, I caught your playful tone. also, I consider it an honor to get a comment from you. this is a secondary account due to a password issue on new phone, I've been around for a hot minute, and I appreciate everything that you and the mod team do around here!)
Thanks! Were/are your boys truly identical? Our girls are very similar, but you can tell them apart fairly easily by size and amount of hair. There was a 14oz difference at birth and the gap is down to about 8oz, but we're wondering if one day we'll wake up and be like uhhh
Yes, ours are truly identical in the sense that the egg split. They do look very much alike, but there’s a few differences if you stare at them long enough 🤪. One has a slightly narrower face. Many people can’t tell them apart at all, while some others say they pick up on it. It’s funny, when they were babies/toddlers, I could pretty easily tell them apart, but looking back at pictures I have a hard time! If we were ‘staging’ pics, I would always have the first born on the left side so I would know. But if it was a random picture where we didn’t purposefully put them sitting that way, I can’t tell who’s who.
They’ve always been basically the same height and weight, and same haircut. So from behind, I can really never tell who’s who.
Haha I feel like that's how these two are going to be. Ours also are genetically the same, but the head shapes aren't exactly the same. I think that will become less apparent once they've got long hair though. We'll see!
Our twin girls are a month old tomorrow. It would be cool if something... cool happened tomorrow.

Congrats on twins! It's a wild ride.
Welcome to the twin club! My identical twin boys turned 8 this past June
My twins turned 41 in April.
What the heck is wrong with you?!? Dec 20 is AWESOME
Portuguese transferred sovereignty of Macau to China in 1999.
The United States invaded Panama in 1989.
The Spanish Prime Minister, Carrero Blanco, was assassinated in 1973.
The Louisiana Purchase was completed in 1803.
I could go on and on LOL
