People need to be a bit careful over this.

If only working people could vote the last Republican President would have been Reagan. The Dems would have controlled both houses too, for most of that time.

The UK is even more dramatic. Labour would have won every General Election in the post war era apart from Thatcher in 1982, and Johnson 2019
