I'm re-posting this. It was posted a couple of days ago here by Starsbottomleft. I am re-posting, hoping that a better title will get better visibility and more discussion. I personally see this as an end to the need for community colleges, and a significant blow to 4-year universities. Basically large universities only up-sell would be Master's level degrees. It seems that this would make a zero barrier to entry for educational tracks, and would crush the financial machine that pushes debt on younger generations. I think there are lots of questions to ask here, but I find this very hopeful.
I wanna say I've heard Trump talk about "voting for your principals". Why shouldn't parents have a larger hand in the guidance of their children education? I ask/say that with the caveat that I'd want parents to be well informed, and not blinded by social medial controlled ideas and persuasion, etc.
I've said for years that I've seen the shift of the need for a 1-income family to a 2-income family. That transition has caused family and community values to decay. Everyone is confused and docile, so control is much easier.
