I remember in the 'rocket man' years it was said NK has a satellite that crosses the USA twice a day that is capable of causing an EMP. Not new except for the players.

Yep, in a pole to pole orbit from the south. Our blind spot as are early warning systems never anticipated a nuke launch coming from the south.
