Everyone should read the EMP Commission report in addition to One Second After. That book was what finally woke my wife out of the slumber. Ironically, she’s taking my son and his GF shopping right now and loading them up w supplies for SHTF for their new apartment in the city. Ironically, I live close to Black Mountain now after decades of living at Ground Zero aka The Beltway aka DC. In hindsight, I should have realized they would never nuke Washington.
