Great book. A bit unnerving to read though. Author got all his info from the best EMP expert in our military. So much so that there were things he was told not to print for national security reasons and other things they would not share with him.

Newt Gingrich did the honors by writing the forward for the novel. I remember Newt educating America about EMP preparedness during his presidential campaign.
