There is the island of Brecqhou in the Channel Islands off the coast of France, it is owned by the owner of the Daily Telegraph and Barclays Bank.

Visitors have included R Branson, Tony Blair, Prince Charles and Peter Mandelson plus some of the Belgian and Dutch royal families

Landing without permission is not allowed, its a very secretive island.
