I have carried a pocket Constitution since I was in college back in 1991. My favorite use for it is when someone spouts off about "their" Constitutional rights being violated, I hand them the book and ask them to show me where it states that.

There were many times that it actually helped them understand. Enough, anyway, to make me keep carrying it.

Also, "the federal government should do -----------." "Here's the Constitution. Where do you see it?" (Of course, most federal agencies aren't legal.)
