One of the keys is to look at the internals. Very often they oversample democrats. And democrats often falsely identify as Republicans or Independents. I look at the other issues. There is very little common ground.
Having said that: this one looks like it was made up out of thin air.
It would be impossible to prove any of the above claims including the last comment "made out of thin air" [FYI - I captured that screenshot live as I entered my input, sure you don't have to trust me but then again we shouldn't trust anyone anyway], unless someone like Elon Musk buys YouGov, have his army dissect all the code, rules in place and then announce the results. But of course, Elon himself is not fully trust worthy either (he put a "roadster in space"!). Aggh.. we live in completely fake world!
Yes, I have not looked at the internals for this one. I usually wait until about 4 months out. But I dissect them to get some sense of reality. If you see an adults poll, you can throw it in the trash. If you see a registered voter poll, then there is a built in left wing bias of 3-5%. Also, left wing sponsored polls are about 3-5% biased. Often more if they are pushing a single issue. Likely voter polls usually have internals that you can use. Very likely voters is the best, but you rarely see them.
