Just exactly is the US doing about our inflation issue when there’s oil being drilled? Why is that oil leaving the US and the BS about it being light sweet crude and our refiners aren't set up for it is BS. It’s the same oil that Trump was drilling when we were energy independent.
We’re being lied to. And an update to the story there are 51 tankers on there way within the next 3 months per Bloomberg News(behind paywall).
Are you claiming we didn't export oil under Trump? [ Because this says that's not true](Statista - Total petroleum exports from the United States in selected years from 1950 to 2022 (in 1,000 barrels per day) https://www.statista.com/statistics/191320/total-us-petroleum-exports/)
I don't think we ever were energy independent. Here's our oil imports
OK, I found another article that say's energy independence has multiple definitions including one where we import oil.

No not referring that we didn't import oil under Trump. But we had the highest levels of SPR and prices of gas and diesel were the lowest in a long time. Now it's reverse. It's capitalism at it's best by the oil companies but when Biden keeps closing drill sites and paying for dirty crude from our enemies then they're lying to us.
Lower than 2016? That was pretty low that year.

I think that was even lower than lockdown
