I went to a new doctor last week for a hand issue, and when the nurse left the room, my medical chart was left open on the computer screen. There, in a 2 inch by 1 inch block in the top, right corner in large, bold letters, it said PATIENT REFUSED. I always figured my refusal of the jab was displayed somewhere because I could always tell the doctor’s reaction to me. But the size of this literally screamed to any doctor that I had not complied. I almost felt violated with the size emphasis to make sure no medical person ever misses that I bucked their order. It fully taints any trust or relationship I have or could have with that medical person.

I think the larger the letters on your chart indicates the more vehement you were about not getting the shot. My rheumatologist tried to talk me into getting the shot. And that office the letters on my chart must all be a foot high and bold type. There was no way he was going to convince me to get any shot ever and I stopped going to him. There are plenty of doctors to go around
We’ll that’s interesting, because I got into quite the argument with my PCP and even told her about the people dying suddenly. This was a year or so ago when deaths first showed up in athletes in Europe. She asked me, “We’ll are they dying here?” Needless to say, I found another doctor who has never even asked me, but now I know maybe it’s because of those great big letters.
Why did she say "We will are they dying here?"?
We'll wait for the answer. :)
