"For example the drug Abilify has a nanosensor in it that allows remote monitoring. All telemetry applications can be bidirectional, meaning your ingested nano sensors can be hacked and remote control illness can be created."
Abilify is an effective antidepressant medication for treating Major Depresive Disorder. Patients who suffer for MDD are notorious for failing to take their medications. "Patient compliance" as it is termed, is typically very low.
Abilitfy is unique. It contains an "Ingestable event monitor" (IEM) which is literally a single event battery/transmitter which is formulated into the Abilify tablet.
When the tablet contacts stomach fluids and disintegrates the IEM becomes activated for a flash of a micro-second's amount of time. The IEM broadcasts to an IEM monitor which is a patch affixed to the patient's arm. This monitor in turn broadcasts to a cloud node, which the patient's doctor can access on a computer/ device and monitor on a Physician to patient basis to assure that the patient is compliant with his precription.
The IEM in the tablet is excreted as waste and does not remain in the body.
I disagree that an ingested nanosensor of the IEM type refered to in Abilify can be "controlled" remotely. It is monotored remotely, not controlled remotely. It is not a bi-directionally operational platform, although it is possible that it could be hacked - not likely though since the guy desiring to "hack" would have to have immediate knowledge of when the Abilify tablet is actually ingested to be able to scrape up such data.
This is the first time I have even heard about this. I thought it was a science fiction because I read it as a science fiction book that you could program it. Then Covid hits and I start looking at the information and found AstraZeneca had a chip in the vaccines. Start thinking maybe those science fiction were correct.
Having something like that administered as an injected substance is troubling and should be prohibited. An IEM administered as formulated into an oral tablet and used correctly is of no concern to the patient as it is not absorbed
I would stay away even if it's an oral tablet. Pharma lied too much for me to trust them.
