Back in 1978, I bought a brand new BMW 320i I was very young so they thought they were going be able to take advantage of me, and make most of their money on the car loan interest rate. I negotiated them down to rock bottom price, then when they/I had signed deal, told them I would be paying cash for the car. They got all pissed off, told me they could not sell the car for agreed to amount, and tried to back out. I reminded them that they had signed the contract and were obligated to the deal. They gave in.
don't worry no one will be able to afford a new care after 2023.
Like someone can afford a new car today?

That same 11.2K car today would cost nearly 60K.
