Yeah, he killed himself with a couple of shots to the back of his head while hanging himself off the door knob.

The movie "The Island" is a movie where the wealthy had a clone ready for harvesting organs and such.....the clones where told that a person would get to go to "The Island" when they left the "clone farm".
Was this a work of fiction or yet another "Hey, we are doing this...ha, ha, ha...."
