Also, Islam is very clearly fake and gay, and clearly not of God. 2000 years of Catholics, the vast majority being good and upright people, is not the same. We can easily tell Islam is false, but with the RCC, there is a claim that they are the one true Church, and there is certainly evidence in favor of this, of which the Church still existing is but one piece for me.
So the fruits of the Church are generally good, while the fruits of Islam are generally bad. So I don't think they are really comparable as it relates to my point.
And the RCC is not fragmented. Just because people have fallen away from the Church and changed up doctrine, doesn't make it so.
Further, people splitting from the Church neither disproves it nor proves it, any more than a Protestant becoming a Catholic empirically proves anything.
And none are absolved of their sins but through the Grace of God. That's hardly an argument against the claims of the Church.
