They are intended to paint us as a violent movement, thirsting for bloody revenge. To some, they make us look dangerous. They feed the narrative that "When the justice they are waiting for will not arrive some of them may feel the need to take things into their own hands" and are used to justify treating this movement as a terror threat.

So if we can all see that it feeds this narrative then what is the upside? What does it accomplish?

We all know that terrible crimes have been committed and that those responsible deserve punishment. In some cases, possibly or even probably the death penalty would be appropriate. Sure. But this rhetoric accomplishes nothing positive.

I know some of you may not be intentional trolls feeding this narrative, but some of the accounts doing this certainly are. Some of you may just be very angry. However, I would recommend channeling that anger into something more constructive than this. Same goes for these type of comments which are very frequently making it to the top of a discussion. I actually would love it if the mods could start doing something about this.
