Cool idea, but... the Bitcoin blockchain can only process about 7 transactions per second.

It is never going to be enough to use BTC as a currency.

BTC could be the store of wealth in the nation while a form of money is used for everyday transactions. Like a gold standard but a bitcoin standard instead.
