Catholics most definitely are Christians as well. No need for us to get in petty denominational battles. It only divides and is not what Jesus wants( and yes I realize there is plenty of un called for Catholic hate here as well, which i dont agree with). Not all Catholics truly follow Christ just like protestant and Orthodox..it's all about relationships with Jesus. Each group can take things and make it legalistic.
