Scientists have spotted an 'archipelago' of sunspots on the surface of our star, which could shoot out violent explosions of energy towards Earth.

For several months now they've been running articles like this every time there is potential for a mild geomagnetic storm. Definitely seems like pre-programming.

On average a Carrington level event happens approximately every 150 years. The Carrington Event happened in 1859. It will likely happen in our lifetime.
