I've been finishing about one book per week every week for the last 3 years. It's probably my favorite hobby. I read mostly non-fiction and take lots of notes.
While these 10 books aren't about current events (most of them are pretty old) they all deeply apply to what's happening now. I've read a lot of good stuff and a lot of crap, but these 10 are the best time investments I've made when it comes to reading. I think they're very important and relevant.

If you like history here are a couple books/audio books Lionheart: By Ben Kane. 4 books in this series. It's about Richard the lion heart and his journey to the hollylands all the way up until his death. I really loved this book. Also my favorite'' The Great Siege: By Ernie Bradford a handfull of knights on a tiny island of malta held back around 40,000-55,000 of the Ottoman Empires best warriors. The greatest siege you will ever read about besides The Siege of Vienna , i cried and laughed during this book. Men like that will never exist again, or maybe they will... I read these stories during hard times to inspire myself and others, to know that our ancestor's civilization nearly fell a few times and defeat was inevitable, but a few men stood against many and changed the curse of history. This gives me strength and courage during hard times. It would be wise for us to seek what our ancestors sought.
