Im sure that is exactly how the Patriots felt in 1765 when the Stamp Act was forced on them. Or the Boston Massacre in 1770. Or after the Boston Tea Party in 1773. Or after Lexington and Concorde in 1775. Or when Washington abandoned Manhattan in August 1776. Or on Christmas night 1776. Or that cold winter of 1777-1778 in Valley Forge. There were still three long years to wait until the Battle of Yorktown.
It sucks. I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. But remember what it took for us to earn this right to take our Nation back. Patriots suffered 16 long years of tyranny and untold deprivations to win it for us. At this point it isnt so bad for most but when I feel as you wrote, I use it to steel my resolve and celebrate those who sacrificed so much for Liberty. Liberty is worth the sacrifice.
It's all so painfully so painfully slow.
