I received a letter yesterday from DSHS if Washington State looking for placement (which I discovered was sent to several family members) looking to place the Granddaughter of a cousin of mine who was adopted himself by my aunt as a baby who was remived from her home. She’s two months old, I have never met her parents and have no idea of the situation. My cousin has epilepsy and other medical ussues and no relationship with his son so didn’t even know about this grandchild. I contacted one of my uncles who had also received the same letter and he said he won’t respond because of situation my cousin came from and DSHS lied to my aunt about him when she adopted him. What an attitude to have!! That’s why so many kids are trapped un the foster system and get passed around from place to place and never have a family. Two of my sons’s best friends growing up amd my former daughter in law were in that mess! I left a message for DSHS lady and awaiting a response but I’d like to help if I can. God has charged me to care for the lost, the broken, the orphan when Camp Yesu comes to be. I would like to begin here if I can. Many things could stand in the way, but God can do anything and remove any obstacle.
