They said it's not IF they're going to attack us. But When and Where.
We know on here this has been a concern for a long time now....and we were/are scoffed at, mocked and called paranoid.
The fbi buddies told them that some of these terrorists are so highly armed and dangerous, that they even have questions on whether or not our swat guys could bring them down.
Our government knows this. Yet they do nothing. 'WAKE UP YOU SENILE SLEEPING FOOLS, YOUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT DOESN'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT YOU!!!' Is what I want to yell at to all the mindless drones that are around me and everywhere else.
Anyways, be Alert. Be Armed. And don't let your Guard down.
America is going to go through a world of hurt I think. And it's going to be be worse than 9/11 I believe. We're going to have MULTIPLE attacks going on. They're going to be stationed and will start mowing down Americans when they're given the signal.
Like it's been mentioned before. They will not...cannot and will do whatever it takes to prevent Trump from entering the office ever again. 2024 is not going to be interesting...it's going to be a bloodbath.
JUST and FYI...I like the M-4 types, have used them from M-16 all the way up to the M-4 BUT MY RIFLE when the shit hits the fan-AR-10...
I love 308. Problem is, most folks run 147-155 m80 ball on the cheap end these days. These can't defeat the multi hit ability of modern level III plastic armor. Granted, you should still be mag dumping a close range target till the threat stops, but 223 will be easier to penetrate after multiple hits than 308. Velocity kills armor and 308 lacks that ability unless you're able to score 30 cal penetrators.
For 223/556, I can assure you that 27 grains of CFE223 behind a Hornady 53gn vmax going 3400 fps defeats any level III. I've tried it. I'm sure similar magic can be had with the 125 gn 308 bullets if u can push them to 3200fps or more. But, since most folks don't reload, m193 5.56 out of a 20" AR is a known armor killer at point blank range.
HEHEHEHEHE...GUESS WHAT...I RELOAD!!!
But you are on point with you're analysis...however, reloading can make a big difference within a few grains which means, one had better have an extra barrel lying around after the testing...
NOTE: Too many reloaders try to get the max out of the barrel/round which is good but I like to work up the rounds SLOWLY...that is why the reload.
Don't forget, powders very well do make a difference BUT that is another story...
I dunno why you'd need an extra barrel. If you need an extra barrel, it's because you blew your gun up. Rifle failures almost exclusively occur at the bolt/chamber. Barrel failures are almost always from obstructions. I do long range F class and tactical matches. Practically nobody loads at or under maximum in that community. The loads in most manuals are very very pressure conservative. The best accuracy node is almost always achieved beyond text book max pressure (in any manual) when it comes to long range stuff. That being said, in gas guns, even my accuracy loads are 0.1-0.3 grains over max for 223. For bolt guns, I've gone several full grains over max before any signs of overpressure even show. For the purposes of 223, CFE 223 practically leaves no empty case volume at 25 grains and I've loaded up to 27.0 grains for the 53gn vmax. Excellent volumetric efficiency for even push on the bullet, you can load .003 off the lands or .005 under magazine oal for more case volume if needed. In a 20" bbl, that is moving 3500 fps. Level III is only rated to 55gn at 3200 fps typically. So that is a cheap, completely legal way to defeat the most common armor rating.
