That has many logical points and very closely mirrors how even iraq was handled. We couldn't give them full power, but we didn't interfere as long as they were following their laws. I can see trump staying there until certain things are finished. The biggest being the complete destruction of a centuries old organism that has infiltrated everything in the most literal sense. At some point I think we will get a better public explanation of what went down.
Exactly my point, the situation has become so fucked, the can kicked down the road for so long, that this is really one of the only logical outcomes of Trump reelection to permanently fix the country that doesn’t lead to a bloody and disastrous civil war. I’m not the only one who feels this way, as I’ve seen other people’s comments how hold a similar hope of Trump being given total authority over the country for a short time, to completely fix the dire situation.
I just find the discussion around the topic rather lacking, how I sometimes feel like I’m the only one who’s really noticing where this is all headed, and how everyone wants Trump to do all these things, but but don’t realize the kind of power Trump has to wield to do it unopposed, and they suddenly get cold feet, simply because of the title, a name, attached to it.
I just think what’s going to come next after his reelection will be something none of us alive have ever seen, we’ll all be blessed to see it happen in real time, and the country we’ll be left with afterwards will be a literal “Before and After” event in the history books.
