Did she commit suicide? IMHO, I think not. She did not back away from the sequel to the fall of the cabal, in fact in here last installment, she told us to follow her to part 27. I believe she was speaking too much of the truth and was silenced.
There's only 2 choices as far as I am concerned.
She is in protective service or DS did her in.
