They cannot legitimately "Tax" the fruit of ones labors. SCOTUS rulings and Amendment ratifications that are contrary to the original intent of the Constitution are null and void by default.
Taxation was a major topic for our founder when establishing our Republic. They were very clear in how and what, as well as what was forbidden. There is also a reason why you hear the income tax was voluntary. The only people required to pay were those working for government.
All services were to be provided by private business. There was to be no standing army. There was to be no entangling alliances, or treaties that created one. There was no foreign welfare, nor domestic. Welfare was not the province of government. There would be no government offices or agencies, other than what was explicitly provided in the Constitution. Anything beyond that was reserved for the States, and the citizens themselves. In other words, FORBIDDEN to federal government.
Those comprise just the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
