This is so timely for me. I have a childhood friend who is 1000% sold on the narrative. Deep down she is mad at me that I am a Trump supporter. Lots of cognitive dissonance there. After a bit of a verbal run in yesterday I finally came to terms with the fact that I will probably have to let go of my oldest friend.
