Figure of speech dude. I, personally, don’t look at them as figures of authority, but they affect populace and public thinking for the sheep. I lost job opportunities due to vax BS, for example. However, I assume you still pay taxes? Without the due process of elections and “representation” why would we (they) still bother?
I figured as much, but it irks me that the masses have been conditioned to look at them as "authorities", "leaders", etc. Too many have closed their eyes and buried their heads hoping that, somehow, it will all work itself out.
