Rep. Adam Smith (D-Wash.) and Senator Jeff Merkley (D-Ore.) introduced the bicameral End Hedge Fund Control of American Homes Act of 2023.

There must be some catch. Like only transgenders of color will be allowed to purchase single family homes, and only in 15 minute cities.
