Archbishop Viganò: Let us never stop honoring the august Queen of Heaven, the Immaculate Virgin - LifeSite
It is through the Omnipotence of God that the Virgin Mother is awarded the most ineffable privileges, such as to make her the One who is Blessed among women, our Co-Redemptrix and the Mediator of all Graces.
Little doubt why the Frankster loathes this man and anyone who professes the truth as he does.
I certainly hope to one day, God willing I find a woman to marry.
And these people are all silly and corrupted by the modern world, the way I see it.
100% this. Unfortunate when the woman is the one who wants to stay home, but the man is more interested in what seems to amount to nothing more than an increased income, or some adherence to a false sense of "equality". And with one significant downside being that the state raises the children because it would have been "lazy" for the mom to raise them and take care of the house.
Apparently my dad was like this. My mom told me the only reason she didn't stay home with me and homeschool me was because my dad wanted her to work.
Well, this comment will rattle some cages.
Some time back it was pointed out that Christ's birth wasn't necessarily December 25th, but actually 9/11. I can't say that was true, as I wasn't there. I haven't dug on it much.
I also heard (again, haven't sat down to verify), that statues of bad deities were purposely rung around the twin towers as part of a ritual to occur when they fell.
Since we just celebrated the Immaculate Conception last week, and 9 months is way closer to September than December, anyone have some sauce on this? In my younger days I recall someone saying the origins of the timing of Christmas were originally based off of a pagan holiday.
I'm going to point out in advance that regardless of any truth to this, it won't affect my love of God in this respect, just increase my resolve for justice.
I’ve seen this same thing. According to where the North Star is in the sky in the autumn aligns with when the wise men followed it to see our Savior after his birth. As for the satanic ritual of Christmas, I wouldn’t doubt it a bit. Santa is an anagram of Satan. We’re all expected to lie to our kids for years about Santa being real. Lie. It makes too much sense that this would be another misdirection of our souls to keep us away from God.
Except Christmas didn't start as a "who can lie about Santa to their kids the longest" contest. It got corrupted into that and the current consumerist shitfest.
Who is it that loves corrupting things and trying to usurp the rightful place of God? Oh right, Satan. I'm sure it's no coincidence he wants to usurp Christmas as well.
And St Nicolas was a real person who was actually generous. Maybe when I have kids one day, I'll teach them about him for Christmas. I don't know, I certainly won't be lying to them, but why does that mean Christ's Mass has to die?
Wow! That’s a point to ponder. I appreciate this. I can’t say that I haven’t done the same thing I was posting about. My grandkids asked me if Santa was real the other day. They were taking turns talking so I didn’t say either way. Not very ballsy, I know. Still, I refused to lie to them. They are strong in Jesus Christ. They know that we are celebrating His birth. We sing “Happy Birthday “ to Jesus every Christmas. We pray before every meal in Jesus’ name. It’s a tough road to break their illusions. It’s necessary, but tough. I’m waiting for the green light from the parents.
The worst part I think, other than the lying itself, is that you introduce the risk that the kids assume Jesus is a lie too.
"Well He must just be like that Santa guy!"
As an aside, I find it funny when the militantly anti-Christmas, anti-Christ atheists say that Santa is used to warm kids up to religion/Jesus Christ. Like, huh? Why not just start with Jesus? Santa definitely isn't our guy, lol. He's who the atheists worship until they get too old and move on to his anagram ;)
And I would likely do the same if any kids who already believed asked me. I'm not looking to be the asshole who ruins Santa Claus for a bunch of innocent kids just having fun, but I also refuse to lie. Got to be smart about it.
What is this article where Mary is the main character and “child Jesus” barely gets mentioned? Implying that Mary is the wisdom of proverbs 8? Come on man. It’s all about Jesus.
In an article dedicated to the celebration of the Immaculate Conception, I don't find it unusual that Mary is the focus. I don't take that to mean that Mary is superior to Jesus.
