Oh man, I just ran into this! One of my daughters had some sores in her throat, and the nurse on call told me to give her a covid test and isolate her. I asked her what do I do different if she has covid? She said nothing, she needs to be isolated so she doesn't give this to anyone else. So really, it didn't matter whether she had covid or not. I was telling a friend, who is fully jabbed as well as her whole family, and she chastised me that I should give her a covid test because it may not be severe in my daughter, however it might kill someone else she gives this illness to!!! I told her, I was keeping my daughter home one way or the other. So it doesn't matter if it's covid. My friend was livid and thought I was irresponsible for not testing her. I still don't understand.
