Please let this blow up! Epic is an EVIL shit company that basically dominates the EHR (Electronic Health Record) of the hospital industry. If you go to a mid to large sized hospital they probably use Epic, followed by Cerner, then Meditech.
I hope this gets legs. Basically tells the story of how the Epic program used by the hospitals prevented the nurses and the doctors from reporting the truth.
Coincidentally, I just got contacted by a recruiter for them the other day. I knew nothing about them and I really need a better job, the listing said it started in the 60-70k range and their benefits looked pretty good too. I didn’t bother with the application once I saw that a Covid vaccination is required, and I would’ve had to relocate to Wisconsin (I already live in the north, I’d rather move south for work if anything).
