I saw a friend (mid 60s) visiting for the holidays last January. She mentioned that she had gotten the vax and was upset that it might have harmed her in some ways. She felt like it was a major error. However, she was super funny, aware, highly communicative during the visit. She was moving onto the next phase of her life because she was going to be moving to Texas, getting her real estate license, etc. She had a fire for life. I just found out she ended up in the hospice with severe dementia over six months ago. They blame it on drinking when she was younger. I just don't think something like that could have happened that fast.
