The city of Huntington Beach has voted to cancel month-long celebrations for various identity groups in favor of a local history celebration.

Does anywhere aside from Texas even recognize that really? I thought it became a federal holiday but even in Illinois we didn't get off work for it. I didn't see any Juneteenth merchandise in stores either.
