Her vaccinated caregiver tested positive two and a half weeks ago. The only reason she tested is because my Mom was supposed to go to a church thing. So, my Mom and her caregiver didn't go.
Enter the COVID Christmas hysteria.
One of my siblings then decided that my mother, who had a runny nose, had to get tested. She tested positive. Then said sibling decided not only that my mom couldn't go to the extended family Christmas even "five days after she was asymptomatic wearing a mask" which is apparently the new bullshit rule. AND, that no one should have direct contact with her. AND, that anyone that did have direct contact with shouldn't go to extended family Christmas either, even if they tested negative. So I was banished, and adult children that flew into to town for Christmas were banished. Not because they were with my Mom. Because they were with me, who was with my mom, who was barely sick, and clearly not sick enough to get me sick.
It was awful and I don't think the rift will be healed anytime soon. I became persona non grata because I decided to take my chances so as not to isolate a little old lady at Christmas. The irony? I (unvaccinated) took some MMS and didn't get sick notwithstanding that I have been with my mom every day since. Prolly because unvaccinated people exposed to a real virus then thave broad based immunity - something everyone in the world used to know.
So, my unvaccinated mom was less sick than the vaccinated and boosted caregiver that got her sick in the first place, and I wasn't sick at all. Yet we are the problem. The good news is my elderly mom will probably never get it again. The bad news is she was heartbroken at Christmas, and she probably does not have a lot of Christmas's left.
Do not pedel MMS if that stands for Miracle Mineral Solution. For those unaware, MMS (Miracle Mineral Solution) is a pseudoscience concoction sold by a scientologist, named Jim Humble.
The main ingredient is Chlorine Dioxide. The method of consumption is usually by drinking after mildly diluting it. The ratios that Jim Humble suggests consuming this chemical is DANGEROUS and cautioned against by almost every side of the health world globally, and the entire political or conspiratorial spectrum...
If you're MMS is something else, then I apologize. But if you mean Miracle Mineral Solution (Chlorine Dioxide), then please please let's talk. It can be via DMs or right here. Anywhere you like.
You are absolutely not supposed to ingest those ratios of chlorine. Yes, you can purify water with Chlorine Dioxide tablets, but the ratios are VASTLY reduced and you need to let the water sit before drinking so the chlorine evaporates...
Sauce????
And Ivermectin is horse medicine. Works for me. Over and over and over again. But thanks for the comment I will relook at that information. Don't really trust the sources that I have seen so far.
Ivermectin is not horse medicine... Ivermectin has decades and decades of use in human beings with proven efficacy.
If you think I'm shitting on medicine the government doesn't like, you're mistaken. I oppose the pharmaceutical industry with a passion... But the problem is that when some people reject the pharmaceutical industry, they fill that vacuum with someone else who sounds confident.
That's why I mentioned that MMS is usually rejected by people on both sides of any political, conspiratorial, or medical compass... Republican sources, Democrat sources, independent sources, and conspiratorial sources, are all willing to say that this mix sold by Jim is not safe for human consumption.
Just because it hasn't sent you to the hospital or killed you DOESN'T mean it's working. Whenever you're sold a "cure all", which MMS is reported to cure everything from depression, to cancer, blindness, and seizures.... There is no medicine in the world that cures everything, and if someone tells you it does, they're LYING or they're just WRONG.
Edit: and not that I'm a medical professional, but I absolutely do try my best to research everything I put into my body. ABSOLUTELY take Ivermectin to get rid of covid. It's not only an anti parasitic, but also an antiviral. It makes it impossible for the virus to reproduce in the body, and cures covid.
I understand your point and the distinction is noted. Ivermectin has a decades long history. But both are anti-parasitic, which is the common denominator of many "debunked" treatments for not just viral replication, but certain kinds of cancer. This includes Hydroxychloriquine, Ivermectin, Fenbenzadole, etc.
I have never been anti-vax or anti-medical community. My kids were fully vaccinated and even took the Meningitis vax before college.
Until COVID, I used to believe that certain therapeutics were not suppressed, they just weren't funded for research because there was no profit motive.
After the COVID vax tyranny and "C'mon Y'all, yer not a horse" campaign bullshit, I started looking at things in a totally different light. They lied, lied lied, and then tried to run reputable physicians who were asking totally normal questions out of their livelihood.
You are correct that in effect, two wrongs don't make a right. But thousands of people have taken MMS without incident. I am not a doctor, I am just a skeptic. I took Ivermectin for COVID after they told me not too, and it worked. My BIL took it for a TERRIBLE case of COVID, and it worked.
Out of curiosity I then started really slow with MMS - I mean really slow. And it worked for me too. Numerous times without incident. Not an endorsement, just my personal experience. And my husband's. I haven't had a sinus infection in 3 years. And before I started doing my own research, I was being prescribed antibiotics for terrible sinus infections at least once and usually twice annually.
I definitely wouldn't say I'm anti-vax necessarily. I'm certainly against the MRNA vaccine, seeing as they literally changed the definition of "vaccine" so they could call it one.. But I still support people getting actual "weakened viral sample" vaccines.
And I'm certainly not anti-medicine, just against the for-profit circle jerk of treating symptoms with "medicines" that make people sick in other ways too.
Well hey, I appreciate you being civil with me about this. You didn't just scream "REEE!!! SHILL!!" when I said something contrary to your beliefs. We need more dialogue like this in this world. God bless for that.
I hear your points, and I get them. I'm not sure I agree that MMS has a perfect track record of never having devistating effects on peoples health... You said that thousands have taken it without incident, but same goes for any drug of any kind. Thousands of people eat oily greasy slop from fast food joints every day, and while they aren't dying immediately out of the drive thru, heart disease is still the number one cause of death in America... I wouldnt say thousands of people eat at Jack in the Box without incident, though... Or just because people drive their cars every day and never seem to get into any accidents, they are still just as likely to actually crash, regardless of if they've crashed before or not. Bad analogy, but I think it demonstrates what I'm trying to articulate, lol.
I think we're both just skeptics trying to find the even truth. And I wish you the best :)
Edit: a better analogy would be the regular consumption of Marijuana. Most medical professionals would say not to smoke weed every day but ask almost stoner if they think it's unhealthy or dangerous to get high daily... As someone who smoked daily for years, I can by a first hand account honestly list the various ways that it has negatively impacted my health. My testosterone levels were so low from the regular consumption, I had given myself an undiagnosable illness called CHS, which makes you violently vomit in the mornings WITH OR WITHOUT weed. I relied on it for depression and boredom. My memory was that of a 65 year old in my mid 20s... There was a LOT going wrong, but I would never have admitted it, because it allowed me to sleep at night (chronic insomnia since early childhood)... Most stoners would be quick to blame those issues on other things before accepting that consuming weed long enough might have been what caused it... I sure as FUCK would never have admitted it, because I didn't believe it. Too many people supporting it to step back and look at it critically.
Food for thought.
