The country would not stop functioning if the Fed Govt was 100% shut down -- for a time. So fire everybody within it, and rehire only what is needed, keeping the same constitution.

It's like a fresh install of Windows. Over time a Windows OS becomes bloated with loads of junk running in the background. It overloads the hardware and runs super slow. Many times I have taken my "old" computer and done a reformat of the hard drive and reinstalled Windows from scratch. It's amazing how that old hardware suddenly roars back to life when all that bloatware has been stripped off.

But..... how does that happen with the bloated military??? That's something that also needs a reformat.
