I really don't agree with this idea that because the doors to the Capitol were open meant that everyone was welcome to go inside.
I'm not going to insult the intelligence of those at the Capitol that day to pretend they didn't know they weren't supposed to be inside that building.
There are plenty of valid arguments to make about J6 without using the "but the doors were open!" argument. That's something children would say.
I was 50 ft from Capitol steps near inauguration media tower for 4-6 hours. I never had a clue people went inside. I never saw 1 act of cop/protestor violence.
