I am so sorry for your loss, fren. I know how it feels to lose a beloved spouse - mine went home in 2020. Your husband was blessed to walk through his earthly life with a loving wife by his side. Though you will feel his absence deeply, Jesus is with you, just as He was when he shared in Mary and Martha's grief before raising Lazarus from the dead. He wanted them and us to know He experienced their heartbreaks first and foremost, just as He does yours. May you be tangibly reminded of God's presence in His manifestations as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as you grieve your loss.
There is no doubt that Heaven celebrates the arrival of every one of its citizens, and your husband is no exception. I cannot say that it will be easy to learn how to be apart from him until you get there; it is one of the most difficult things I have ever done. I am still terrible at it. Don't let the world tell you how or when to grieve. You feel all you need to feel. God gave us the gift of feeling some of the love and loss He knows, and you use that gift all you want. May the peace of His Spirit be your constant companion as you go through each day.
The irony of grief is that it allows us an opportunity to experience the greatest of loves, and that is God's. I could write so much but do not want to overwhelm you or this board. Just know that you are never alone. Draw near to Him; He is with you.
I am one of many thinking of and praying for you. Remember this: "For your Maker is your husband— the LORD Almighty is His name— the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth" (Is. 54:5). The God of this Universe is the lover of your soul, and you are His most beloved daughter. He sees you in your grief and shares every moment with you. May you know the fullness of His love as He faithfully heals your broken heart and restores your wounded soul.
Thank you so much for your sincere words Patriot. I am sorry for your loss as well. God Bless you.
